In an interview with Fortunamag.az, Rufat Mahmud, Chairman of the Board of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, spoke about the significance of the discussions organized within the framework of the World Urban Forum 13 currently taking place in Baku.

— How do you assess the significance of today’s forum and the discussions taking place during these days?
— I highly appreciate it. As you can see, this forum has already become a very important platform. During the session we attended today, the active participation of our young professionals was especially noticeable.
Young architects and urban planning specialists have much to learn from their more experienced colleagues, as well as from international experts. The forum provides an opportunity for engaging and meaningful discussions on important topics. This is precisely where the forum’s greatest value lies.
